Devastated – Devon Matthews dies suddenly

Trinidad and Tobago were sent into shock and mourning when Devon Matthews died suddenly early Sunday Morning after performing at Tribe’s Band Launch. It is suspected that he may have suffered a heart attack after performing on stage.

Devon Matthews has been performing soca for over a decade and is a popular dj at RED 96.7FM. 

He placed third at the International Soca Monarch Competition in 2017 with his hit “The Journey” which he performed with Ella Andell.
