Extempo 2019 Results

Kaisorama 2019 kicked off with Extempo finals on Thursday 28 Feb. There were eight people competing for the 2019 Extempo Title.

After the first round they were down to four.

• Gypsy
• The Incredible Myron B
• Brian London
• Black Sage

Second Round -First Topic – Donald Trump is a trap

Gypsy and The Incredible Myron B had a repeat of the Extempo Final 2018 Third Round this time in the Second Round as they both drew #1. They got the international theme of Donald Trump. It seemed quite evenly matched.

Second Round – Second Topic – Publish Sex Offenders

Brian London and Black Sage pulled the number 2 to sing against each other. Black Sage tried to imply that Brian London should be on the list but Brian London would have none of that.

Extempo 2019 Prizes

• Third Place – $50,000
• Fourth Place – 20,000
• 5th – 8th Place 10,000

They selected Brian London and the Black Sage for the final two! The crowd did not seem happy that neither Gypsy nor The Incredible Myron B made it to this round.

Brian London drew first blood –

“The first Hawaiian shirt they does sell by Rattans”

Brian London sang that the third title would go the London family as his nephews took two calypso titles in 2019 already. He was correct he was crowned the Extempo King 2019.
